All Microgaming slots fans know Avalon, it’s a casino classic which is why Avalon 2 has been so highly anticipated. The theme of Avalon 2 and indeed its predecessor is King Arthur and the knights of the round table. One thing we know and love about Microgaming and other slots is that unlike Hollywood blockbusters the sequels are sometimes better than the originals! This was the case with Thunderstruck 2 but will it be the case with Avalon 2?

Well in terms of format, Avalon 2 definitely has huge potential. There are 243 different way to win in this slot and a ton of special features such as trailing wilds, multipliers, rolling reels, scatters and expanding wilds. Microgaming have gone the extra mile in developing the theme for this slot by providing a unique back story. The holy grail has been stolen which has led to an evil atmosphere permeating the kingdom of Avalon. King Arthur and his trusty knights make it their mission to find the grail, beat the villain who stole it and have peace restored to the kingdom. The back story in itself is entertaining enough for a film!

With regards to the special bonus rounds, they don’t disappoint. In your quest to act as King Arthur and get the grail back you are going to embark on eight separate bonus rounds. The first round is instigated when you get a minimum of 3 scatters. You will then be instantly awarded with up to 20 free spins. The final bonus round in Avalon 2 is an interactive spinning wheel. As long as you bet enough, it is this reel which can win you the ultimate jackpot of 2,430,000 coins! Good luck and please let us know what you think of Avalon 2 and your 25 free spins in our comments section.
